Hi,

I'm James - My friends call me James ‘Curly’ Williams.

And I run far.

So, now you know why I call my site ‘JamesRunsFar’ :-)

This page will tell you a little more about me and how JamesRunsFar.com can help you achieve your goals.

Enjoy!

Stronger With Every Step

My mantra is ‘stronger with every step’.

That helps me get through tough times in training and races. Because it means a number of things to me.

Physically

Every step you take in training makes you stronger and more prepared for challenges ahead.

And every step in races puts you closer to your end goal.

Metaphorically

Every non-physical step that you take makes you stronger.

For example, that first ‘step’ in creating a plan, or the first ‘step’ in asking someone for help.

Why Have I Created JamesRunsFar?

I think that one of the best ways to explore your limits is to test yourself physically.

This means attempting to push yourself to do things that you never thought were possible.

With JamesRunsFar, I hope to do two things:

1) To Inspire you

I want to inspire you to push yourself past your own limits.

That could be attempting to break a world record.

Or it could be attempting to break your own record, like a PB.

2) TO inform you

The site is full of tips, advice and tools that I've used on myself in over 10 years of training and seen others use as well.

Some of the most useful articles to start with are:
